Description
Self-assembly alarm kit to warn against the appearance of a layer of liquid. The module is based on theAVRATtiny85microcontrollerwith software installed by the manufacturer. The board also includes a buzzer, forsound alarm and anLED forvisual warning. The whole is powered byasmall,flat battery, which is included in the kit.
The sensor is used wherever electronics are exposed to liquids, e.g. in tightly closed systems operating under water, where quick detection of a leak is very important. The module has been tested with water, correctness of operation with other liquids should be checked on its own.

The microcontroller used has software installed by the manufacturer. Nevertheless, the user can upload any program usingthe AVR programmer. The board is an excellent tool to learn how to program microcontrollers and operate simple electronic sensors.
