Product description: Enviro pHAT - temperature, pressure, light intensity and proximity sensor - Raspberry Pi cap.
Enviro pHAT is an overlay for Raspberry Pi withBME280andLTR-559sensors allowing to measure temperature, pressure, light level and proximity sensor. Additionally, the cap has a0.96"colourdisplayand MEMS microphone. The cap is fully compatible with the 40-pinGPIOconnector on the Raspberry Pi board. The manufacturer has prepared a special library for programming Raspberry working with the cap.
Enviro pHAT overlay.
Purpose of Enviro sensors
TheEnviromodule has been designed primarily to monitor indoor conditions, for example in the office orat home. The module canalso be connected to your existing smart home system and controlled using voice assistants, e.g. from Amazon Alexa.
The Raspberry Pi Minicomputer is not part of the kit, it must be purchasedseparately.

Enviro pHAT - sensor for temperature, pressure, light intensity and close-up - cap for Raspberry Pi
The Enviro pHAT cap is equipped with four measuring sensors, with which an integrated system for measuring temperature, atmospheric pressure and light intensity and colour can be realised. A built-in 3-axis MEMS gyroscope, a proximity sensor and a set of analogue inputs allow the connection of additional sensors and peripheral devices. Enviro pHAT can cooperate with, among others, Raspberry Pi Zero W. The overlay can communicate with a network server, enabling remote measurements. The manufacturer provides a dedicated Python library, which makes it easy to launch the overlay.
Connecting and starting the Enviro pHAT plate
The Enviro pHAT module is equipped as standard with a 2x20 female type goldpin connector strip. The layout is fully compatible with the 40-pin GPIO connector in most Raspberry Pi. The leads for power and communication via the I2C interface can also be equipped with a goldpin type connector to make the board easier to use, especially if you intend to connect it to different devices. In order to install the software, it is recommended that the Raspberry Pi that works with the Enviro pHAT board has the latest version of Raspbian OS uploaded. After the launch, connect Raspberry Pi to the Internet and enter the command:
"curl https:get.pimoroni.com/envirophat | bash"
From now on, the Enviro pHAT plate is ready for use.
