Passive elements
Our offer includes passive elements with various parameters. We offer, among others:
- Fuses: elements designed to interrupt the flow of current in a circuit when a certain value of a given parameter (usually intensity) is exceeded. The offer includes, among others: polymer fuses, i.e. fuses that heat up and open the circuit when a certain current value is exceeded. This type of fuse can be used up to approximately 100 times (however, please note that the circuit is never fully opened, and too high a voltage may cause breakdown and ultimately damage the circuit components).
- Car fuses are also available, i.e. so-called fuses, which are integral elements of the electrical network in combustion vehicles. They are disposable - when a given intensity value is exceeded, the fuse melts and the circuit is interrupted forever. Our offer also includes overcurrent fuses, thermal fuses (temperatures from 96° C to 135° C), WTA fuses and fuse connectors.
- Resonators: electronic components that stabilize the vibration frequency of electronic oscillators. This property is used, for example, to build watches, electronic stopwatches or remote controls using radio signal transmission. The operating frequency of such elements ranges from several dozen kHz to several dozen or even several hundred MHz - our offer includes resonators from approximately 32 kHz to 16 MHz (SMD and THT elements).
- Resistors: the simplest and most popular passive element of most electronic circuits. It is used to adjust the voltage in the circuit to the needs of the device (the resistor converts the retained energy into heat). It works linearly - the voltage drop is directly proportional to the current flowing through the resistor. We have carbon resistors with resistance values from 0.1 Ω up to 1.5 MΩ, heating resistors, resistors made in THT, SMD technology (0805 and 1206) and resistor sets.
- Potentiometers: adjustable voltage dividers, acting as resistors with adjustable resistance within a specific range (a potentiometer is often called a variable resistor). Our offer includes potentiometers with resistances from approximately 1 kΩ to 500 kΩ, including slider, rotary, multi-turn precision, digital (in the form of a small integrated circuit), touch potentiometers, made in SMD and THT technology, with a switch, with a prepared three-wire connector, sets of potentiometers (in the organizer). Knobs are also available for easier potentiometer control.
- Capacitors: passive elements composed of two conductor plates separated by a dielectric. We offer ceramic and electrolytic, Low ESR, tantalum and motor capacitors. Electrolytic and ceramic capacitors are available in both through-hole (THT) and surface (SMD) versions. The capacitor, and more specifically its electrical parameters, should each time be adjusted to a specific application in order to avoid, for example, damage to the system.
- Chokes: a type of coils that are often used as filtering elements for the transmitted signal (electrical energy). We have components with inductance values from 4.7 μH to 1 mH and with various resistances and permissible currents. Induction elements (coils) are universally applicable. The main task of the coil is to effectively collect energy in the magnetic field.
