Rocker switches - Electric button
A rocker switch is a single button that, when pressed appropriately, can trigger various states. For example, a 3-position rocker switch, as the name suggests, has 3 positions and therefore 3 states. It typically functions as an on and off switch, respectively opening and closing the circuit that contains the target actuator device (for example, a guitar amp plugged into a wall socket). A rocker switch is often used, which is designed in such a way that with only one "rocker", for example, you can control the car window (opening, closing and remaining idle). This solution works particularly well in vehicles or as a light switch at home - in places where concentration when switching or visibility of the switch may be limited.
Rocker switch - additional information
Rocker switches can be perfect as part of your printed circuit board or as a replacement part for a damaged device. Our offer includes the right button for every occasion. The type of switch, contact load capacity, switching method, number of stable positions, contact configuration and dimensions of the mounting hole should each be adjusted to a specific application. In the electrical switches and buttons category you can also find tactile and capacitive switches, toggle switches , electronic and digital switches and many others.
What do we have to offer?
We offer a wide selection of rocker switches in various shapes, colors and sizes. We offer, among others, switches with a built-in LED diode, thanks to which the button will be very visible in the dark. We also offer switches with a built-in power socket (AC eight type) designed for installation in a housing. There is also a triple rocker switch (3 bipolar buttons in one housing) and a 3-position momentary switch (operates when one of the two positions is pressed, and returns to the zero position when the button is released)
The models we offer are designed for use at 12 V, 230 V or 250 V, and the current carrying capacity is 2 A, 2.5 A, 3 A, 6 A, 15 A, 16 A, 20 A, 35 A. We have models for direct and alternating current. In addition, the switches differ from each other, among others: body color, operating temperature, status (on off) and mounting hole. If you have additional questions about switches or other products available in the Botland store, please contact the advisory department.
