The rocker switches are characterized by the presence of a single button within which the on/off function is integrated. The reaction takes place as a result of its displacement, which resembles rocker movement, hence the name of the switch. This is one of the most frequently used buttons in electrical devices. It is characterized by ease of use and very high versatility. It can be used in many areas, e.g. night lights, the system of electric car windows, or the light switch in the closet or the underpanel lighting in the kitchen. There are several types of rocker switches, among which there are backlit, bipolar, 3-position, through and momentary switches. The rocker switches are also characterized by ease of operation. They are small in size, so we can install them even in hard to reach places. The rocker switches differ not only in the way they work, but also in design, especially in color. This is very often used for larger, more complex systems to mark specific functions and buttons that activate them.

Rocker switches - Electric button
A rocker switch is a single button that, when pressed appropriately, can trigger various states. For example, a 3-position rocker switch, as the name suggests, has 3 positions and therefore 3 states. It typically functions as an on and off switch, respectively opening and closing the circuit that contains the target actuator device (for example, a guitar amp plugged into a wall socket). A rocker switch is often used, which is designed in such a way that with only one "rocker", for example, you can control the car window (opening, closing and remaining idle). This solution works particularly well in vehicles or as a light switch at home - in places where concentration when switching or visibility of the switch may be limited.

The guarantee of a quiet switch is a membrane keyboard with rubber domes, although this option is less durable than others - it will withstand fewer clicks and taps.
