Electric motor controllers and accessories

Currently, brushless direct current motors (BLDC) are used in RC modeling to drive vehicles. Drives produced with this technology are characterized by high power at a small size and low weight - this makes them ideal for use in small remote controlled vehicles, especially flying vehicles. In this role, BLDC motors have displaced compact internal combustion engines over the past several years. The only problem with these types of motors is their control - they require a precise, multi-phase high current supply. Fortunately, Turnigy provides a ready solution to this problem by offering compact, integrated BLDC motors. These are dedicated to be powered by typical batteries used in modeling and can control BLDC motors over a wide range of speeds. Such a controller can spin a motor that has propellers mounted on it for drones, for example, which Turnigy also offers.

Servomotors that control vehicles

If, on the other hand, something needs to move in the model, but does not require as much force as a drive, then the ideal solution are the so-called servomotors, also known as servo motors. These are actuators - most often rotary, less often linear, which allows precise control of position, speed and acceleration. Chargers for drone power cells
