Step-down converter equipped with the AP63357 voltage regulator by Diodes Inc. It lowers the input voltage from 6 V to 32 V, giving the output voltage 5 V, current efficiency is 3 A. The module has a fully integrated 74 mOhm MOSFET on the high side and a 40 mOhm MOSFET on the low side, providing highly efficient DC-DC conversion. At the back of the module, the manufacturer placed a copper washer that dissipates excess heat generated by the plate during operation.

SparkFun Buck Regulator Breakout has screw connections and outputs in the form of soldering pads.

Pin description

The board has outputs in the form of solder pads, to which wires should be soldered and connected according to the following dependencies:

  • VIN - input voltage from 6 V to 32 V
  • GND - system ground
  • VOUT - output voltage (adjustable 5 V)
  • EN - high voltage control pin

In addition, the module also has a screw connection as an alternative connection.
