Seeedstudio shield for Raspberry Pi minicomputers. It supports the CAN FD interface with a transmission speed of up to 8 Mb/s , it is a faster and more efficient version of the traditional CAN interface. The shield is based on the MCP2518FD controller and the MCP2558FD transceiver. The device uses the SPI interface to communicate with the minicomputer. The shield can be powered using the GPIO pins of the Raspberry Pi or using screw connectors using a DC voltage ranging from 12 V to 24 V. The board also has Grove connectors, 120 Ω resistors and switches to control their operation.
The subject of the sale is the CAN BUS overlay. The Raspberry Pi minicomputer must be purchased separately.
