Product description: 3D Printer - Creality Sermoon M1
A 3D printer for professional use from Creality. It has a closed working chamber. The housing of the device is characterized by high strength and good thermal insulation, providing stable temperature conditions for the resulting 3D prints. The workspace size of the Sermoon M1 is 400 x 450 x 500 mm. The dimensions of the structure are 1000 x 985 x 1335 mm.
Additional thermal insulation
In the Creality Sermoon M1 enclosure, additional insulation was placed between two walls. Made of heat-resistant, flame-retardant material, it effectively maintains constant thermal conditions in the working chamber. Reduced heat loss improves the quality of the final 3D models.
High-powered heating table
The shape tolerance (flatness) of the hotbed in Creality Sermoon M1 is about 0.2 mm. The high power enables the work platform to be heated evenly to 150°C in just 3 minutes. On the edges of the table made of aluminum there are clamps for attaching the glass surface with nano-coating, on which prints are formed. This ensures good heat conduction and even heating of the entire surface. Finished models can be easily detached from the table.
Water cooling of the heating block
The heating block of the Sermoon M1 hotend is cooled using water. The liquid tubing system ensures efficient cooling of this component, even in very high temperature environments.
Water and air cooling system
The Creality Sermoon M1 is equipped with a tank with a built-in water pump, used to cool the components of the device. An additional display shows the current coolant temperature value. An efficient heat dissipation system lowers the temperature of the returning fluid to 35°C. The degree of air cooling can be adjusted using the slicer software.
Constant temperature chamber for printing material
The printing material chamber is located in the side casing of the device and maintains a constant temperature for storing the felt. It also ensures a constant relative air humidity: from 10% to 25%, which prevents the thermoplastic from getting wet (then it becomes brittle and breaks easily). The chamber contains the following elements: an efficient fan, a dehumidification module, a filament stand, a temperature and humidity sensor and an extruder.
Two extruders
In the Creality Sermoon M1, the manufacturer used a filament extrusion system consisting of two extruders: a main one located in the side chamber with the print material and a relay one located closer to the print nozzle. Two extruders ensure smooth movement of the felt (eliminating the risk of jams).
High quality components
The Creality Sermoon M1 uses high-quality electrical and transmission components that can handle the demands of operating in high-temperature environments. Among the component manufacturers used in the Sermoon M1 are world-leading companies such as Omron and NSK. This 3D printer has an industrial-grade dual temperature control system that monitors the print chamber in real time.
Two heating methods
The Creality Sermoon M1 uses two methods to achieve the right temperature: hot air circulation and infrared radiation. Heating is fast and uniform. The actuators of this two-component system are located in the working chamber.
Independent extruder chamber
Sermoon M1 has a unique solution in the form of an independent chamber in which the main extruder is placed. Extruder isolation allows for safe and convenient replacement of the filament spool, also prevents debris from entering the 3D printer work area.
Industrial-grade control and power system
The Creality Sermoon M1 features high-quality control and power components. The industrial-grade motherboard, branded power supply and circuit protection system keep the 3D printer running stably and safely even during prolonged operation.
For protection against sudden power outages, an emergency shutdown delay module for the printer has been implemented in the circuit. If a sudden power failure is detected, the module automatically switches the operating mode and moves the print nozzle away from the model, protecting it from damage.
Chassis cooling system
When printing with high-temperature filaments, the user can run the fans located on the top cover of the device from the menu. Their main task is to reduce the temperature between the double walls of the housing. This improves the stability of operation and extends the life of the 3D printer.
