Product Description: IR Beam Interruption Sensor - LED 3 mm - 0-25 cm
The sensorreacts to aninterruption in the beam of infrared lightthat is transmitted between thetransmitterandreceiver. The module is equipped with a3 mm IR LEDwith an illumination angle of10°. In order to be activated correctly, the devices have to be aligned in such a way that the beam sent by the Transmitter reaches the Receiver. Beam interruption systems are used, among others, in measuring gates.
