The MyoWare 2.0 LED overlay is equipped with a 10-segment (2 x 5) blue display. The display in conjunction with the EMG MyoWare 2.0 muscle sensor can indicate their voltage level, the higher the muscle voltage, the higher the LEDs on the display will rise. The overlay is equipped with snap connectors , thanks to which it can be easily connected to the muscle sensor. The cover is also equipped with a small Li-Pol battery and a power switch, thanks to which it can work as a standalone device.

Description of product: MyoWare 2.0 LED Shield - overlay with segment LED display - SparkFun DEV-18387

The MyoWare 2.0 LED overlay is equipped with a 10-segment (2 x 5) blue display. The display in conjunction with the EMG MyoWare 2.0 muscle sensor can indicate their voltage level, the higher the muscle voltage, the higher the LEDs on the display will rise. The overlay is equipped with snap connectors , thanks to which it can be easily connected to the muscle sensor. The cover is also equipped with a small Li-Pol battery with a capacity of 40 mAh and a power switch, thanks to which it can work as a standalone device. The battery can be charged using the USB type C connector on the board, with a current of 40 mA . On the board you can also find status LEDs informing about battery charging (CHG, FULL and power supply - VIN).

MyoWare 2.0 ecosystem

The MyoWare 2.0 ecosystem created by Advancer Technologies consists of overlays and sensors equipped with snap-on connectors, with which they can be easily connected with each other, and the Arduino, creating a universal tool for studying muscle activity - electromyography (EMG). The innovative system of snap-on connectors allows easy connection of modules, and the analog 3.5 mm TRS jack connector is used to connect to the microcontroller by which the raw, filtered and rectified electrical activity of the target muscle is measured. This eliminates the need to solder the joints between the boards.
