Product description: NanoBeacon Lite Board - IN100 - SparkFun WRL-21293
The NanoBeacon Lite Board with the IN100 chip extends the functionality of projects with a wireless , low-power Bluetooth 2.4 GHz signal. It enables wireless sensor monitoring and can also be used to create your own beacon for real-time location monitoring. The NanoBeacon Lite Board can be powered by a CR1225 3V battery (not included), the appropriate socket has been placed in the back of the board. At the front of the module, the manufacturer has also placed a place to make a note, which can be useful when carrying out projects with a large number of sensors.
The NanoBeacon Lite Board is designed for prototyping and testing applications.
Special features of the NanoBeacon
- Design without programming - NanoBeacon features a new protocol implemented directly on the board that eliminates the need for programming. Just configure the module and use it with the provided desktop application that allows you to fully customize the application.

Attention ! When programming the IN100 with the InPlay NanoBeacon Config Tool, the "Burn/Program" option loads the settings and locks the module. Before selecting this option, make sure everything is set up and working as expected, as you cannot undo this step and you may damage the IN100 module.
