Product description: iNode MCU GSM - Bluetooth / WiFi / GSM gateway - ESP32
The iNode MCU GSM device is based on the ESP32 chip and programmed in the microPython language. GSM MCU has no specific functionality, it can, for example, periodically send data in binary format from Bluetooth sensors to the indicated HTTP server. The module can be freely programmed in the microPython language based on Python 3.4. Scripts are uploaded to the device via the iNodePy application that works with Windows, Android and Linux devices, in the Chrome or Edge browser environment. It is equipped with over 2 MB of RAM, approx. 4.7 MB of internal memory and such wireless communication interfaces as Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi and GSM . The device is also equipped with a hardware watchdog. The device has a slot for nano SIM cards and two antenna connectors for Bluetooth and GSM. The module is powered via the microUSB port ( 5 V / 1 A) . The kit also includes two SMA antennas.
Programming the iNode GSM MCU device
The module is based on the ESP32 chip programmed in microPython using the iNodePY application. INode devices can be monitored using theiNode MQTT Monitor tool. The applications work with Android, Linux and Windows systems via the Google Chrome or Edge browser. You can find a free microPython script on the iNode support site. You must log in to the website as an inode user, without a password.
