Overlayfor Raspberry Pi manufactured by SB Components. Equipped with 3 measurement channels, allows to directly monitor current, voltage and power consumption for given channel. Allows you to verify exactly what your current power consumption is. It measures the power output through an additional multiplier register that helps the user get the correct readings. It communicates with the Raspberry Pi module through an I2C or SMBus interface. It is powered by 3.3 V or 5 V.

Special features of Power Monitoring HAT
- Equipped with standard 40-pin socket, which is compatible with Raspberry Pi series of boards.
- The design and pinout allow stocking of modules and do not limit Raspberry Pi expansion with additional overlays.
- It provides monitoring on 3 channels. It uses I2C/SMBus interface which makes the whole process low bandwidth.
- The overlay has a 12-bit ADC that converts analog to digital signal.
- The voltage measurement range is from 0 V to 26 V.
- It has built-in 0.1 Ω 1% resistors, allowing both sides to measure up to 3.2 A.
