Product description: Sharp Memory Display Breakout - 2,7'' 400 x 240 - Adafruit 4694.
Monochromedisplaywith400 x 240 pixelresolutionand 2.7'' diagonal. It combines the advantages of the e-ink and LCD display. Similarly to e-paper screens it is characterized by low power consumption. It also displays black pixels on a grey background (similarly to high contrast e-ink devices), which increasesits readability. At the same time, it provideshigh refresh rates, known from LCD technology. The product has no backlighting, additional lighting is required to use it at night.

Powered by .
The display is powered by 5 V. The logical voltage level is 3 V. The display module has a built-in3 Vconverteranda converter to increase the voltage to 5V. It can therefore be usedwith voltages of 3 V and 5 V. The display is connected viathe ZIF socket. It has fourmounting holesat the edges of the frame.

Compatibility with popular microcontrollers
Sharp Memory is a write only display. Only 3 pins are responsible for data transfer. However, please note that all the memory it uses (13.5 KB) has to be buffered by the microcontroller. This makes it impossible for the display to work with minicomputers with small amount of RAM: ATmega 328 (e.g. Arduino Uno) and ATmega32u4 (e.g. Feather 32u4). The device properly cooperates with the following microcontrollers: ATSAMD21 (Feather M0), Teensy, ESP8266. ESP32
Attention! The display is not compatible with ATmega328 and ATmega32u4 microcontrollers. |
