Product description: SCD-40 - Temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide sensor - I2C - STEMMA QT / Qwiic - Adafruit 5187
High precision sensor designed to measure temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide CO2 concentration. Manufactured by Adafruit company. Measurement range is from 400 ppm to 2000 ppm, with measurement accuracy ± 50 ppm + 5%. Module is equipped with STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors, which improve connection of the sensor with main module, e.g. Arduino or Metro board. SCD-40 is powered from 3.3V to 5V. It uses I2C digital communication interface, with address 0x61. The sensor can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Product compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi
A user guide is available on the manufacturer's website, which makes it significantly easier to get started with the sensor. It contains, among others, wiring diagram and sample program codes.
SCD-40 Sensor connection
Sensor connection is done with goldpin connectors (included in set) or STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors. Example connections are presented using Metro board, which is equivalent to Arduino.
