Product description: SparkFun 20x4 SerLCD - LCD display with RGB backlight - Qwiic - SparkFun LCD-16398
SparkFun 20x4 SerLCD is a module with an alphanumeric LCD display and an ATMega328p microcontroller. It presents characters in a 20x4 arrangement, which are displayed in black . The background, on the other hand, is highlighted with the RGB palette. The user can control the brightness of the backlight and the contrast between the characters and the background. The module supports three communication interfaces - UART , I2C and SPI. It also has a Qwiic connector, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the connection process. The input buffer holds up to 80 characters.
The product is compatible with Arduino
The manufacturer provides a detailed user guide that will significantly facilitate the use of SparkFun 20x4 SerLCD. You will find there, among others, instructions for connecting the module with other components, sample program code and useful configuration commands.
The user can set an individual welcome password, which will be displayed after activating the module.

SparkFun 20x4 SerLCD works with a voltage of 3.3 V, so make sure that after connecting to the selected module with a microcontroller or SBC, you supply the appropriate voltage level. Too high supply voltage will lead to irreversible damage to the module.
