Product description: Melopero Cookie RP2040 - board with Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller
Melopero Cookie is a circular board based on the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller. It is equipped with 8 MB of Flash memory , a USB type C connector for power supply and programming, a user-programmable green LED and a matrix of addressed RGB LEDs WS2812 (NeoPixel). Thanks to the Qwiic / Stemma QT connector on the board, it is possible to connect many SparkFun and Adafruit sensors. The Melopero Cookie board can be programmed in MicroPython, CircuitPython, Arduino and C / C++.
The Melopero Cookie RP2040 module is equipped with an RGB Neopixel LED matrix.

The RP2040 microcontroller is the first microcontroller developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It was first used in the Raspberry Pi Pico module and in modules from other manufacturers, including Arduino. It is a very efficient, dual-core system based on ARM Cortex M0+ clocked at 133 MHz. It has 264 kB of SRAM memory, 30 GPIO pins (including 8 programmable I/O) and other popular communication interfaces. The microcontroller was enclosed in the QFN-56 housing.

The Melopero Cookie module is equipped with numerous inputs / outputs. It contains the most popular interfaces, such as: I2C, SPI, UART as well as analog and digital inputs / outputs. The pinout diagram provided by the manufacturer is useful for quickly finding the right name for a specific pin, depending on the language and IDE. For example, notice how pins 28 and 29 change names depending on the platform you're using to program the board:
- CircuitPython identifies these pins as D28 and D29
- In the Arduino IDE they are 28 and 29 (check the green labels)
- When using MicroPython, they are called the number you will find on GPxx labels (number only)
