The MW Power EBD2412 switching power supply is designed to supply electricity to LED lighting , but also to some electrical devices that have a 5.5 / 2.1 mm DC socket. The power supply output provides a DC voltage of 12 V and allows you to connect devices with a maximum power of up to 24 W. The built-in electronic protection unit protects the power supply against short circuit and electrical overload. After removing the cause of the interference, the power supply automatically returns to normal operation mode.

A characteristic feature of many electronic devices around us is the need to provide them with a supply voltage of a relatively constant value over time. Typically, to power both consumer and professional electronics devices, it is necessary to provide a DC voltage of a standard value, e.g. 12V. In addition, to cover the energy needs of the receiver, the power supply must also have an appropriate current efficiency, e.g. at the level of 2A. These criteria are perfectly met by the offered MW Power EBD2412 12V/2A switching power supply, which can be used, among others, to power LED lamps.
Principle of operation of a DC switching power supply
The MW Power EB2412 12V/2A switching power supply differs structurally from traditional power supplies based on linear voltage stabilization. The voltage regulation process in such a power supply uses pulse width modulation (PWM). In such a process, the voltage at the power supply input is rectified and pre-filtered. The voltage is passed to the next filtering stage via a small switching transformer and then goes to the receiver. The voltage value at the output of such a power supply is measured using an error amplifier and compared with the reference value, which determines the overshoot value at the power supply input.
