A characteristic feature of many electronic devices around us is the need to provide them with a supply voltage of a relatively constant value over time. Principle of operation of a DC switching power supply
The MW Power EB2412 12V/2A switching power supply differs structurally from traditional power supplies based on linear voltage stabilization. The voltage regulation process in such a power supply uses pulse width modulation (PWM). In such a process, the voltage at the power supply input is rectified and pre-filtered. The voltage is passed to the next filtering stage via a small switching transformer and then goes to the receiver. The voltage value at the output of such a power supply is measured using an error amplifier and compared with the reference value, which determines the overshoot value at the power supply input.
