















A smaller version of the TReX controller. Used for small motors.It has a current capacity of up to 13 A for each motor. Allows you to control motors through a serial interface (RS232 or TTL), control a radio receiver or an analogue voltage source, e.g. a potentiometer.
TRex DCM02 is a smaller and cheaper version of TReX controller. It is used for small motors. It has a current capacity of 2.5 A for each channel. It allows to control motors through a serial interface (RS232 or TTL), control a radio receiver or an analogue voltage source, e.g. a potentiometer.
The controller uses five input channels to receive radio or analogue signals. In this mode the channels have the following functions:
The serial interface can be immediately switched from one of the other interfaces, allowing a combination of standalone and remote control. For example, the robot can operate autonomously in most cases, but manual control can be activated when the robot gets stuck or in another dangerous situation. If the serial interface is selected as the main one, all five input channels are available to the robot controller, allowing unrestricted combination of operator and sensor control. For example, TReX is the ideal controller for a balancing robot.
The TReX driver does not require a serial interface. It works as ESC by default. If non-serial communication is used, all module functions cannot be accessed. |
