Side cuttingpliers160 mm long. The core of the cutters is made of CrV chrome-vanadium steel. The handles are covered with an anti-slip and insulating VDE coating. The product has a flattened profile, which increases the cutting surface. The pliers are designed to work with voltage up to 1000 V. Characteristics of tools with VDE insulation coating
- Resistance to voltage -the tools are approved for operation at 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC.
- Compression resistance- VDE products can withstand a point pressure of 20 N after being exposed to 5000 V and heated to 70°C.
- VDE coating on the tool- the VDE insulation coating resists attempts to pull it off the handle with 500 N.
- Low temperature resistance -according to EN/IEC60900, the coating can withstand mechanical impact even at -40°C.
