How to use SMD resistors in circuits with bipolar transistors?
In many practical applications we can see that SMD resistors are almost inseparably used wherever we can come across semiconductor elements and devices. In circuits built based on bipolar transistors, resistors are mainly used to limit the current of the transistor base. Another important reason for using resistors in these circuits is to connect the collector to the emitter, which stabilizes the operating point of the transistor, thus preventing it from entering a saturation state.
How to properly solder SMD 4.3kΩ resistor?
If during the assembly of our electronic circuit we made a mistake consisting in soldering on the PCB an element with an incorrect value (e.g. in place of the 4.3kΩ resistor we soldered 43kΩ resistor), then it is enough to solder the element and insert the correct one. To do this, blow hot air directly on the element to be soldered, while holding the element with tweezers. After soldering, use a soldering iron and a soldering iron to clean the pads from solder residue and insert the correct element.
