Product description: INA228 - current and power sensor - I2C - STEMMA QT / Qwiic - Adafruit 5832
A compact proposition from Adafruit equipped with the INA228 system, which allows you to monitor the power in the circuit. It allows you to measure voltage with a maximum value of 85 V DC and current up to 10 A. Moreover, it also has a 20-bit ADC converter that increases the precision of measurements. Not suitable for measuring alternating currents. Works with boards such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
Compatible with Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
Special features of the current and power sensor
- Measurement of voltages with a maximum value of 85 V DC in common voltage mode, measurement on a low or high voltage line.
- 20-bit ADC converter responsible for high measurement precision.
- I2C interface for communication with other devices (useful, for example, when triggering alarms).
- It is used in the implementation of projects related to energy management, as well as with all battery consumption indicators.
- Compatible with popular development boards such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
- It has easy-to-connect connectors - STEMMA QT / Qwiic and a 3-pin screw connector.
- It can be used to measure 85V/10A (~10uA per LSB) or 2.75A (~2.5uA per LSB) continuously.
