Pimoroni's Amigo Pro LiPo charging module with built-in MCP73831 chip. It is designed for charging Li-Polymer Li-Po batteries and Li-Ion Li-Ion batteries with a nominal voltage of 3.7 V. In the default mode, the maximum charging current is 200 mA , however, the Fast Charge mode allows charging up to 500 mA . The built-in LED informs about the current charge level. LiPo Amigo Pro has two JST-PH connectors , thanks to which the user can simultaneously charge the battery and power an external device with a voltage of up to 4.2 V. The XB6096I2S system, which the charger is equipped with, provides the cell with protection against overheating and overcharging.
