Description
The holding electromagnet powered with the voltage of 12 V with a power of 3.5 W. It holds a weight of 4 kg in standard earth acceleration of 9.8 m/s2. Body diameter is 25 mm, and its height is 20 mm, for mounting used is the hole with the M3 thread.
The device can be used as an actuator powered by any microcontroller, e.g. Arduino. Please note that an electromagnet consumes too much power to connect it directly to the pin of the microcontroller. For this purpose, you can use relay, optoisolator or transistor amplifier.
Attention! The manufacturer recommends maintaining a good heat dissipation from the case so along with the temperature rise of the coil, the force that holds decreases. |
