The set includes 5 pieces of miniature modules with Emerald Green LEDs . Their small dimensions allow them to be used to create creative light decorations, e.g. on clothes or everyday objects. Starting a single diode requires only connecting a power supply from 3.3 V to 6 V to the "+" pin and ground to the "-" pin. The modules can also be powered by a Li-Pol battery or a CR2032 coin cell. For more advanced effects, such as flickering or smooth light fading, the modules can be connected to microcontrollers, e.g. Adafruit Gemma or Flora . When powered by 3.3 V, one diode consumes approximately 5 mA, so you can connect up to 4 or 5 diodes in parallel on one microcontroller contact. The modules are located on a strip from which you can easily detach them individually.
