Spectrum PLA - filament with high resistance to mechanical damage
The Spectrum PLA filament in Bloody Red is made of polylactide. It is a polymer of organic origin, which is obtained, among others, from cornmeal. The most important advantages of the Spectrum PLA filament are high resistance to mechanical stress, low temperature of transition from solid to partially liquid state and full biodegradability. Such features make the Spectrum PLA filaments a very good alternative to plastic filaments in many cases.
Accuracy of 3D printing using PLA filament
An inherent element of the 3D printing process is subjecting the filament to thermal processing. For this reason, when printing with PLA filament, remember to take care of good cooling. A suitably efficient fan placed in the printer head is required. The better the cooling efficiency, the better the conditions for solidification of the successively applied filament layers. Additionally, the number of lines creating the 3D printing texture is also important, and the more of them there are, the more faithful the reproduction of the object and the greater the resistance to static bending.
