Product description: Atnel ATB DIGI-LION 3in1 - charger with DC-DC converter and discharge protection
ATB DIGI-LION is a module that combines a Li-Ion andLi-Polbattery charger, aswellas a very powerful DC-DC converter, which can use the power supply from both batteries and a USB port. The USB port allows you to charge theconnectedbattery, power the converter itself and communicate with a computer.
The module allows you to conveniently change the voltage with the J2 jumper. J1 jumper, on the other hand, allows you to decide whether the module should work with the battery or directly from the power source provided by the USB socket. This allows you to use any power supplyfor thephone, with the appropriate current capacity in relation to thedemand for electricity in your own system, which is to be powered from the inverter.It also has a microcontroller which serves as a protection of the batteries against discharging. The charging process takes placewith a maximum current of 500 mA with protection against voltage increase above +4.2 V. The charging process is then automatically interrupted.

Attention! The manufacturer warns against using unstabilized power supplies to power the module.Theoutput voltageshould be up to +5.5 V. The batteries are protectedagainst discharging below the permissible 2.9 V. |
Atnel company has prepared a specialDIGI-LION PCprogram for Windows-based PCs, which allows you to communicate with the module using anyUSB / RS232adapter based on the FT232Rchip, as well as to create live charts or export data toExcel.
