Product Description: Adafruit ESP32-S3 Reverse TFT Feather - 4 MB Flash, 2 MB PSRAM
Module from the Feather series, based on the ESP32-S3 , which is an improved version of the Adafruit ESP32-S3 TFT Feather. It is equipped with a color TFT display with a diagonal of 1.14 " and a resolution of 240 x 135 px . The IPS technology used improves color quality from every viewing angle. The board has a dual-core Espressif system clocked at 240 MHz, 4 MB Flash memory and 2 MB PSRAM. The Adafruit module also offers the user WiFi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) wireless communication and a native USB type C connector. The manufacturer placed the display in the front of the module, so it can be used as a front panel for IoT devices. For devices requiring low current consumption, the Feather module has a 3.3 V LDO regulator controlled by the GPIO output. In low-power mode, the entire module can draw about 100 uA of current.

What is the Feather family of chips?
Feather consists of control modules (Feathers) and peripheral devices (Wings). The pins of the plates have been designed in such a way as to enable the assembly of entire systems on breadboards using goldpin connectors. An unlimited number of Wings modules can theoretically be connected to one main module (Feather). Most extensions come with rich development resources, including example program codes and libraries.
Special features of the module
- Tensilica dual-core processor - providing high computing power. There is also 4 MB Flash memory and 2 MB PSRAM at the user's disposal.
- Wireless communication - the built-in ESP32-S3 chip supports communication via WiFi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
- Compatibility with Arduino - the board supports the ESP-IDF and Arduino IDE environments, which facilitates the programming process, and also allows you to use the entire back-end of ready-made libraries.
- Built-in Li-Pol charger - thanks to the integrated charging system and battery status monitoring - MAX17048 - it is possible to use the system without an external power source.
- Low energy consumption - the use of the ESP32 microcontroller allowed to reduce the current consumption to even 40 uA, when the system is powered from the Li-Pol battery. For further optimization, it is also possible to disable the NeoPixel LED and the display.
- TFT display - placing a color TFT display on the front side of the board, together with three additional buttons, allows the module to be used as a front panel.
The module is equipped with a dual-core Tensilica processor.
