Distance sensor in the form of a 360° laser scanner from Slamtec. Using RPLidar A2M12 , you can scan from 8000 to 16000 samples per second in the range from 20 cm to 1200 cm . The typical scanning frequency is 10 Hz, adjustable from 5 Hz to 15 Hz, and the operating angular resolution is 0.225° . The RPLidar A2M12 laser scanner enables multi-directional scanning of the surrounding environment and generation of a contour map of the environment based on the obtained data. The thickness of the device is only 4 cm, which means that it can also be placed in service robots and other structures.
