The Cardputer is an ingenious part, so to speak the Swiss Army knife for every IT person and/or hacker or people who want to have fun with a great technology gadget. The community works excellently, all questions asked are answered competently and reliably, which is really fun. I use the part mainly with a LoraWan module as a completely independent communication system, but nothing is impossible, more a question of programming. Strong recommendation!

Keyboard a bit wobbly, but ready for immediate use and you can type in your Python code or play around.

I have had the cardputer (card - computer) for just a few days and my experience is minimal, I am currently learning everything from YouTube. You can upload a program created in the Arduino editor to it in two ways: directly to M5StampS3, which is the small square in the top right, or via an SD card. The cardputer has a small display, you can't do much on it, but it displays sharply. For example, there is an application 'color coding of resistors' on YouTube, it has simple controls and beautiful graphics. You can also create applications in the special editor M5Stack UIflow, where there are two languages available: 'Blockly', which are building blocks that make up the entire program, and the well-known language 'Python'. The mentioned small square (here in a 1.27 mm design) is a so-called development module, it is the basis for the 'M5Stack Cardputer Kit - a portable computer with the M5Stamp S3 development board'. Because it has a decent keyboard, you can use more buttons in applications than just the one that other modules have. When getting to know it, you will gain a lot of information about other devices built on the ESP32-S3 chip.

It looks great! Small, sturdy, efficient. Ideal to prototype ideas. Fast display, very good mic and loudspeaker. I'm experimenting capturing sound and waves analyzing. Really nice. It worths every euro. Botland is a perfect dealer.

Really cool little machine. Already lots of open source software to run on it. It has a built in mic and speaker and as far as I can tell, 2 gpio pins and +5v + GND to allow I2C peripherals and stuff like that. I believe M5 stack makes a LORA antennae that can be connected here. Keyboard is made of hard platic keys, I was pleasantly surprised by this. I had imagined them to be gummy. Its still very awkward to type on but its still extremely cool.

+ M5's products are known for their usability, built quality, nice design... That absolutely pays to M5Stack Cardputer. + Interesting products to amend other M5Satcks you might have +/- I won't recommend Cardputer to be your first device to step into this ecosystem (for that I'd rather go for M5Stack Fire, Core, Core 2, Core S3)... - On the other hand, M5Stack's support sometimes lacks, especially for newer produts + Luckily, there is huge community which usually patches this hole... If I would recommend this product ? In case you're OK with all above said, the YES...

A really great and compact minicomputer! Powerful microcontroller, WiFi, color display, keyboard, microphone, speaker, SD card reader, IR transmitter diode, and built-in battery. Additional sensors and actuators can be connected via GROVE port.
