Description
Sensor for measuring magnetic field (compass) in three axes. It is characterized by its small size, low power consumption and simple operation. The common I2C bus (TWI) is used for communication with the central unit. The module has the necessary passive elements for proper operation of the system.
The outputs are popular goldpin connectors - a 2.54mm raster, enabling the sensor to be connected bywires ordirectly connected to thecontactplate. The circuit allows cascading connection of many modules to the I2C bus.
The maximum voltage with which the system operates is 3.6 V, to work with Arduino voltage converter is required. The exception are modules working with 3.3V e.g. ArduinoPro Mini 328 - 3.3V/8MHz. |
