LiPo Charger Plus by SparkFun is a charger designed for single lithium-polymer cells with a nominal voltage of 3.7 V. Equipped with a USB C input connector for more convenient and versatile power options. The charger also offers selectable charging speeds and optional thermal protection , which increases the safety and efficiency of the charging process. An internal sensor maintains the maximum charging speed until the system temperature reaches approximately 95°C , at which point the controller reduces the charging speed to prevent overheating. Thanks to the LEDs indicating the state of charge, power supply and charging completion, you will be aware of the current status. The charger supports input voltages ranging from 3.75 V to 6 V and is equipped with the MCP73833 controller, which allows charging at a maximum intensity of 1000 mAh . The MCP73833 also has an optional input for an NTC thermistor , which protects the battery against possible damage.
