Description
Micro:bit is a development board based on 32-bit CPU with core ARM Cortex M0 produced by BBC in order to encourage children to programming and creating new projects. It has an accelerometer, magnetometer,Bluetooth, LED display of 5x5, buttons tact switch and other. Module dimensions are 52 x 43 mm.
The module can be powered by USB or battery via special connector. It has 23 connectors, including 5 large banana connectors.
Programming
The programming of the board is very simple and suitable for the youngest of users. Micro:bit can be programmed inthe web editor,the microbit editor orthe Mu editor. Then, simply connect the module via USB and upload the generated script. Device, when connected to the computer, appears as an ordinary Flash memory.
The Bluetooth support allows for connection with mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, etc. Available are applications forAndroidandiOS.
