Servo:Lite controller
A Servo: Lite board is included in the kit, extending the capabilities of the BBC micro:bit module. The main module micro:bit must be screwed to the expansion board with the supplied screws. The board is equipped with 5 addressed WS2812B LEDs, a basket for 3AAA batteries, an on/off switch, and outputs for connecting 2 servos. Kitronik 5652 self-assembly robot - set composition
MOVE mini MK2 buggy for the BBC micro:bit - Kitronik 5652 allows you to easily build a small, charming mobile robot based on the BBC micro:bit education board. The set includes all mechanical components necessary to assemble the robot without the need to buy additional mounting components, as well as the necessary AAA batteries and drives and a base plate, working with the BBC micro:bit (the module with the microcontroller itself must be bought separately).
The vehicle has a form of a two-wheel drive platform with direct drive, and in the front part of the casing there is a micro:bit board with an additional "motherboard", equipped with a power switch and a strip of 5 addressable RGB LEDs type WS2812B.
Additional information about the MOVE mini MK2 buggy
The miniature robot is driven by two micro class modeling servos with a 360 o rpm range. Thanks to this, it was possible to significantly simplify additional electronics, and thus reduce the cost of the set, as it was not necessary to equip the structure with integrated motor controllers.
To create a program controlling the robot's work, a USB cable and a computer with a web browser are enough. The role of the development environment (IDE) is played by a simple and intuitive graphic editor available online at www.microbit.org. Kitronik, the manufacturer of the mini MOVE kit, also makes a lot of information available on its website to facilitate initial work with the robot.
