Description
Smallinverterforlight-emitting cables with audio input.It hasa built-in smallmicrophoneso that it lights up the connected EL cable depending on thevolume of the surrounding sound.The device requires a12 V DC inputfor proper operation(an8 xAAbatterybasket can be used) and is capable of powering 2to 3 meters of high-brightness EL cables or 1 meter ofEL tapeor 10 cm x 10 cm panel continuously for about 48 hours.
On one of the sides of the converter there isa switch to select the fixed /sound / off mode (Full / BL / Off) - fixed means continuous operation. Asingle female JST 2.5mmstandardconnectorfor all EL cables and tapes andtwo power wires are included. The cable marked "+" should be connected under the power source + 12 V and the other one is earthing. The converteroperatesat"audible"frequencies, which means you can hear the squealing coming out of the housing.

The inverter requires a 'load' to stabilise. Do not start the inverter without at least 30 cm El cable connected. Otherwise, the device may get stuck and cause damage. |
