Description of product: SparkFun gator:bit v2.0
SparkFun gator:bit v2.0 is the another edition of the popular expansion board with the pads to connect crocodile connectors. This is the module of all-in-one type designed forthe BBC Micro:bit which provides a fully functional developing and prototyping platform. It has 7 input pins, 5 digital pins, 5 addressed LEDs and speaker.Supply voltageisfrom 2.7 V to 9 V, andoutput voltage is equal to3.3 V or 5 V is. Board can be powered via USB in Micro: bit with the battery through connectorJST of 2 mmor by connecting the power to the VIN pin on the board gator:bit.
The connectors were led-out in such a way so you can freely connect them by the crocodile connectors and take full advantage of thegator:bit v2.0. It is an ideal tool for creating visualization data with the help offive built-in addressed LEDs but also to create musical compositions using the built-in speaker.
Pins of the expansion board gator:bit v2.0
Pins 0, 1 and 2 perform the function of capacitive touch buttons and at the same time, are the pins of the ADC. Pins 8, 16, 5 and 11 are digital pins which can read and record. In addition, the pins 13 (SPI), 14 (SPI), 15 (SPI), 19 (I2C), and 20 (I2C) can be used to read and record any digital signals. In the guide from SparkFun, the link located in the green frame below, you will find more detailed information about any pin and attributes (such as the voltage, light and sound).
