Product description: Feather ESP32-S3 - WiFi module, GPIO - compatible with Arduino - Adafruit 5323
Another Adafruit tile from the Feather series. The module is based on the ESP32-S3 system, with 8 MB of Flash memory , no built-in PSRAM. The dual-core Espressif system clocked at 240 MHz, is equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy communication and a native C-type USB port. The product is used in projects in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT), smart clothes and home automation.
What is Feather ESP32-S3
Feather ESP32-S3 is a small module equipped with an Espressif microcontroller that supports WiFi and Bluetooth communication with low energy consumption . Thanks to its small size, it can be successfully used in projects in the field of, among others IoT and home automation. Feather ESP32-S3 is based on a dual -core Tensilica 240 MHz processor . It has 8 MB of Flash, but does not come with PSRAM. It supports i.a. Time of flight (ToF) measurement. The product is equipped with native USB.
Pinout description
- Native USB C port : used for powering and programming the board. It allows you to charge a Li-Pol battery plugged into the JST connector.
- JST 2-PH connector connected to the Li-Pol battery charger system: Li-Pol 3.7 / 4.2 V with a capacity of 250 mAh or more can be connected to it.
- CHG LED: The LED lights while the battery is charging. When charging is complete, the LED turns off. If the packet is not connected, the LED may flash quickly.
- GND: common ground for all power and logic circuits.
- BAT: positive voltage from / to 2-pin JST socket for optional Li-Pol battery.
- USB: positive voltage from / to USB C socket if USB is connected.
- EN: 3.3V voltage regulator pin.
- 3.3 V: regulator output 3.3 V (instantaneous current 500 mA).
