on the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment

Do not place used electrical and electronic equipment together with other waste.

  • It is the user's responsibility to hand over the waste equipment to a designated collection point for proper processing. Information on collection points is available on the Municipality website.
  • Households play an important role in contributing to the reuse and recovery, including recycling, of waste equipment, thus being able to actively participate in environmental protection.
  • The crossed-out bin sign is a symbol of selective collection and means that used electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of with other waste. Used equipment may contain harmful substances (e.g. cadmium, lead, mercury, freon).
  • The correct disposal of your old equipment will help save valuable resources and prevent potentially dangerous consequences for the environment and human health. Severe penalties may be imposed for non-compliance with the separate collection and improper disposal of this waste.
