Product description: Argon Fan HAT v1.5 - fan shade for Raspberry Pi
Overlay with 40 x 40 mm fan for Raspberry Pi 4B / 3B+ / 3B. After downloading the script from the manufacturer's website, you can adjust the fan speed. There is a power / reset button on the board as well as LEDs to indicate the fan speed.
The item is an overlay, Raspberry Pi minicomputer can be purchased separately.
Installation instructions
- Connect the Argon Fan HAT overlay to your Raspberry Pi.
- Connect your Raspberry Pi to the internet.
- Open Terminal on your Raspbian system.
- Type the command:
curl https://download.argon40.com/argonfanhat.sh | bash
- Reboot.
To remove the script, type the following command in the terminal:
argonone-uninstall
Fan speed
Once the script is installed on the Raspberry Pi, the program will automatically adjust the fan speed depending on the temperature, the default values are in the table below. The values can be edited by opening the Argon One Config program on the desktop or by typing a command in the terminal:

Argon Fan HAT v1.5 - a fan shoe for Raspberry Pi
The Argon Fan HAT is a practical fan overlay for the Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+, 3B. The extension allows the board to be cooled efficiently, preventing the module from overheating during heavy use, protecting the processor and other delicate components from damage due to excessive heat.
The Argon Fan HAT has been designed to allow for convenient mounting as a GPIO extension to the Raspberry Pi. This way the device does not require soldering and can be quickly disassembled if needed. Additionally, there are four mounting holes on the board to allow for screwing.

The Argon Fan HAT by Argon40 allows you to adjust the fan speed so you can adjust the cooling performance to the current CPU temperature. This avoids overheating of the board but also unnecessary power consumption.
