Product description: Lidar TF02-Pro-W IP5X laser distance sensor - 25m - UART / I2C
The TF02-Pro-W LiDAR laser distance sensor is based on ToF technology. The distance detection range is 0.1m to 25m . The module is equipped with a wiper mounted on a servo located inside the sensor housing, which is used to clean its surface from all kinds of contamination. As a result, it can be used in a dusty environment. The sensor housing is made of PC / ABS, the protection class is IP5X , which ensures protection against water and dust. Benewake LiDAR TF02-Pro-W for communication uses the RS485 interface, Modbus protocol , it is powered with the voltage from 7 V to 30 V. LiDAR TF02-Pro-W supports LoRaWAN, 4G, WiFi and other data transmission solutions. The sensor also supports battery power, so there is no need for additional wiring.
The TF02-Pro-W module is equipped with a servo with a wiper.
TF02-Pro-W with automatic cleaning system
The Benewake LiDAR TF02-Pro-W module has a built-in servo, on which the wiper is placed. For 24 hours, the wiper carries out 6 operations to clean the sensor from dust and other contaminants. The wiper is also activated each time the module is connected to the power supply. Additionally, the user may control the sensor independently by sending appropriate commands to the sensor cleaning system and modifying the wiper movement time. While the wiper is moving, the sensor does not measure and send no data.
