Expansion module for Intel Edison allowing you to connect devices supported by microUSB port such as keyboard and mouse to our minicomputer, use the board as a mass storage or operate it from the console from the computer.
- USB OTG - Allows you to connect devices with low power consumption to the board or power it via the microUSB AB port.
- Console- The microUSB B port allows you to power the Intel Edison module and operate the board from a console on your desktop computer.
- Power Button- The power button works just like a laptop or PC.
- When on, holding it for ~10 seconds will turn off the module
- When off, pressing the button will restart the device
- When on, pressing the button will put the device into sleep mode
- When it is dormant, pressing the button will bring the device into operating mode
The button does not affect other boards connected to the module.
- Power LED - The LED lights up when the unit is connected to power.
- Date LED - The LED helps to determine whether the device is active.
- LED Jumpers - If the power supply is an issue, you can interrupt the jumpers to disconnect the LEDs.
- Expansion Header - A 70-pin connector to connect the Intel Edison board's development segments, data transfer and power supply to the individual modules.
