LoRaWAN communication interface

Temperature and humidity measurements in practice

Air temperature and humidity are parameters which in many cases seriously affect the correctness and quality of many different biological and technological processes. In the mining, metallurgical and chemical industries, excessive air humidity reduces the oxygen concentration in the air. Such a state negatively translates into full utilization of the calorific value of fossil fuels necessary to produce thermal energy used to heat water in power plants and combined heat and power plants. Maintaining an appropriate level of humidity is also a problem for plant crops. Plants require enough water in the soil to develop properly. Not enough water can cause rapid dying, while too much humidity promotes the development of mould spores, which are carcinogenic. The SenseCAP Wireless Temperature and Moisture Sensor allows real-time measurements and can work with automatically controlled irrigation and dehumidification devices.
