Description
Driver for addressed RGB LEDs NeoPixelWS2811/WS2812 byAdafruit. It allows you to connect up to 512 elements in eight circuits with 64 LEDs each. Communication through USB port from PC orRaspberry Pi minicomputer. Special software, with ditheringeffect allows you to create artistic, colorful projects based on three-colored LEDs circuit.
PlatformFadeCandyconsists of the following elements:
- Software- thank to the use of special correction and color dispersion algorithms, the display projection quality is very high.
- LED driver- allows connection to the popular RGB LEDs to the computer via the USB connector.
- Software server allows for communication with one or more FadeCandy boards. Workson operating systems: Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and platformRaspberry Pi.
- Open Pixel Control - protocol, which allows you to communicate with the serverFadeCandy.
- Libraries and sample programs- collection of examples in popular programming languages including Python, Processing as well as Javascript and Max available soon.
- LED diodes - module works with addressed RGB LEDs WS2811/WS2812. It allows you to connect up to 512 elements in eight circuits with 64 LED per each
The combination of these elements allows the user to easily create interesting light effects. Examples of projects with a description of the connection and software can be found onthe website of the manufacturer.
