Details and description of outputs of the module can be found in thedocumentation.

Power supply

The controller can be powered with a voltage range from 5.4 V to 9 V, inputs connected to the BAT + and -. Connect voltage higher than 9V will damage the module. The system is protected against reverse power connection. The maximum current which can be supplied from the stabilizer 5 V is 500 mA.

Programming

The module can be programmed using the Arduino IDE environment. It is necessary to connect the system to the computer via mini-usb cable and install drivers. In Arduino environment it is necessary to choose the right board: Arduino NG or older. In the case when compile-time error occurs, we need to add to the file:hardware/arduino/avr/cores/arduino/HardwareSerial_private.hthe following lines of code (in bold):

Motor driver

The board has dual channel motordriver, consisting of a MOSFET at maximum load current up to 2A (temporarily up to 2.5 A). The system is supported with pins, D7, D8, D9 and D10, which can be disabled by removing the appropriate jumper.

The motors should be connected to the outputs of ML and MR. Pin D7 controls the direction of rotation of the motor, ML, D8 of the motor MR. Speed adjustable via PWM signal is supplied from outputs D9 for the motor connected to ML and D10 for MR.
