Product description: Sharp GP2Y0A60SZLF - analog distance sensor of 10-150 cm 5V
The sensor can detect objects at a distance of from 10 cm to 150 cm. The output is the voltage analog signal whose value depends on the distance between the detected object and the sensor. The closer the object is, the voltage at the output is higher. The data refresh rate is 60 Hz.
The sensor is located on the base of PCB which has goldpin connectors, 2.54 mm pitch, compatible with the popular breadboards. The strap must be self-soldered by choosing between direct and angular strap. The mounting of the system is allowed by the hole for the screw with a diameter of 3.15 mm.
Connection
Sensors of this type are readily used by designers of mobile robots, e.g in design of fighting robots, to detect the enemy, or ride platforms, where it is used for obstacle detection. In our offer are two versions of this sensor:
- 5 V - powered with the voltage from 2.7 V to 5.5 V with output from 0.6 V (150 cm) to 3.6 V (150 cm)
- 3 V - powered with the voltage from 2.7 V to 3.6 V with output from 0.3 V (150 cm) to 1.9 V (150 cm)
Pin | Description |
---|---|
EN | Pin ENABLE, enabled by default. To switch the system to low power consumption mode by disabling the IR transmitter, you must specify the low status. |
OUT | The analog output from 0.6 V (150 cm) to 3.6 V (150 cm). You need to connect to analog-to-digital converter of the microcontroller, e.g. an Arduino. |
VCC | Supply voltage from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. |
GND | The groundof the module. |
