







The IR transmitter, sending the wave with the length of 940 nm together with the receiver in the form of NPN phototransistor, they can be used as a simple, reflective distance sensors with analog output.
The set includes a pair - transmitter and receiver of light from the IR range with a wavelength of 940 nm. The transmitter's system should include sequentially, the resistor limiting the current up to 50 mA. The emitter assembled this way, sends a signal which is received through the detector in the form of the NPN phototransistor with the resistor pulling-up the output to the supply voltage. Example of wiring and maintenance can be found in the diagram or in the video below.
Systems can be used as a simple, reflective distance sensors with analog output, connected for example to a module of Arduino Uno.
