Product description: Polol booster - 2.5-9.5V 2A adjustable converter
The controller increases the input voltage from 1.5 V to 9.5 V to the output value, selected by means of a potentiometer from 2.5 V to 9.5 V, assuming that the output voltage cannot be higher than the input voltage. Continuous current up to 2 A allows to supply both electronics and actuators, e.g. DC motors. We alsooffera system from this series with an output voltage of 4 V - 25 V.
Examples of use
- Logic systems requiring 3.3 V or 5 V supply voltage from small, low voltage batteries.
- Power supply for sensors, systems requiring 5 V in 3.3 V systems
- Power supply for a large number of LEDs
Inverter outputs
The module has three outputs:
- VIN- input voltage
- GND- mass potential
- VOUT -output voltage
The connectors are properly signed on the board. 2.54 mm leadout Raster - popular connectorsgoldpin, allow the module to be mounted incontact plateorconnectionby means of cables.
Output voltage selection
The voltage is set using a potentiometer. Turning clockwise increases the voltage.

System efficiency
The efficiency of the inverter depends on the input voltage and the selected output voltage. On average, it ranges from 80% to 90%. The maximum current that the system can supply is 2 A.

Voltage jumps (pins)
In electronic circuits the starting current may cause the occurrence of so-called pins, i.e. sudden voltage surges to a value above a set level. If the amplitude of the pins exceeds the permissible value of the regulator, it can be destroyed. Therefore, if the circuit will be supplied with voltage above 10V or the load will have high inductance, we recommend to solder a capacitor of 33uF/25V or higher as close as possible to the circuit between VIN and GND.
