Description of product: SparkFun RFID Reader Qwiic
Easy to useRFIDreadermodule is equipped withQwiicconnectorsbased on the I2C interface. It works with systems seriesID-3LA, ID-12LA and ID-20LA. The board allows you to read and write data on the RFID devices with the operating frequency of 125 kHz.
To start the device you must plug in a selected RFID reader and connect the systemmodule screenwith the Qwiic cable and solder a wire between pin 8 of the module and terminal INT of the QwiicRFID reader.
The module does not contain an RFID card. It can be purchased separately. |
The twoQwiic connectors provide rapid prototyping without the need for soldering, which greatly facilitates work of the device.
- Qwiic SparkFun RFID ID-xxLA requires the power of 3.3 V. The circuit can be supplied with the Qwuiic cable connected to the corresponding microcontroller or with pin 3V3.
- Lit up red LED indicates system operation (PWR). Blue LED (READ) turns on the buzzer and lights up when RFID is within the operating range.
RFID module
There is a choice of three RFIDmodules ID-3LA,ID-12LAandID-20LA. Each of them differs in energy consumption, which is reflected on the various possibilitiesofreading range.
