Description
Sensor for measuring magnetic field (compass) in three axes. Sensor is characterized by small size and low energy consumption. It communicates via the I2C or SPI bus. It has a QWIIC connector.
For communication with the central unit, the popular I2C or SPI busis used. The module has necessary for the correct operation of the system, passive elements. The pins are the popular Qwiic connectors.
Since the maximum voltage with which the system works, is 3.3 V, to work with Arduino needed is a voltage converter. The exceptions are the modules operating with voltages of 3.3 V, for example, Arduino Pro Mini 328 - 3.3 V/8 MHz.
The product is compatible with Arduino The manufacturer has prepareda sample programfor users ofArduino. |
Pins
The sensor has pinss for mountinggoldpin connectors - pitch of 2.54 mm(not included, purchased separately and self-soldered). To select the SPI interface, you should cut the chip select trace jumper and CS pin should be connected to ground.
