Product description: Arduino Portenta Cat. M1/NB IoT GNSS Shield - LPWAN/GNSS overlay - ASX00027
Overlay designed for Arduino Portenta H7 module, enables LPWAN communication in Cat. M1 / NB IoT and GNSS positioning. The module is based on the Cinterion TX62 chip, designed for high-performance, low-power IoT applications for optimized throughput and performance. The overlay can also be used with Arduino boards from the MKR series. Portenta Cat. M1/NB IoT GNSS Shield enables the development of tracking and remote monitoring applications in conjunction with the powerful Arduino Portenta H7 board.
The main features of the Arduino Portenta overlay Cat. M1/NB IoT GNSS
- Extends Arduino Portenta with NB-IoT communication, Cat. M1 and GNSS positioning
- Changes the communication capabilities without having to replace the board
- Reduces communication bandwidth requirements for IoT applications
- Low power consumption module
- Implements a small, multi-protocol gateway (H7 WiFi - BT + NB-IoT/Cat. M1)
- Compatible with Arduino MKR board series
